Principal Midcap Fund subscription will start on Dec 6th, 2019:

The Principal Mutual Fund launches a new NFO by the open-ended equity scheme. The NFO is the Principal Midcap Fund. The subscription started on 6th Dec 2019 and closed on 31st Dec 2019. The Risk factor of this scheme is moderately high.

Objectives of the scheme:

The objective of the scheme to increase the value of capital by investing in equity and equity-based investments. The scheme aimed to build a diversified portfolio.

This scheme will be launched on both Dividend and growth options. The allotment order will be issued after 5 working days from closing. If any case the application refused then the amount refund in 5 business days with an interest of 15% p.a.

Minimum Investment For Principal Midcap Fund:

The minimum subscription amount Rs 5,000 in multiples of Re1. For the additional purchase Rs 1000 in multiples of Re 1 and the offer price Rs 10 per unit.

Investment Pattern:

Equity and equity-related instruments other than Midcap companies 0 35%
Debt and Money Market Instruments 0 35%

The NFO investment pattern is a maximum of 100% and a minimum of 65% securities in equity and equity-related midcap companies and in other than midcap companies maximum of 35% security. The Debt and Money market Instruments planned to a maximum of 35% security.

The benchmark for the NFO is the NIFTY Midcap 100 Index – TRI. There is no entry load for this scheme. There is a limit up to 20% for retrieving units no charges will apply.  Above 20% of the unit declined from the company 1% of charges will be applicable.
