Google added a new feature to help users

Google added a new feature to help users to discover, compare, and recharge prepaid mobile plans using “Google search engine“.

Google search enables users to browse different plans across several operators, compare discounts and offers from various operators, and recharge these plans using the payment for that google added a new feature.

To use this feature, the user must type a search query like ‘prepaid mobile recharge’ on their Android device.

The search result shows a Mobile Recharge section, where users will have to fill key fields such as:

  • phone number,
  • operator, and
  • circle,

then hit ‘Browse plans’. Google will then show you all the prepaid plans available by that operator and the preferred plan can be chosen from the list

This feature is available for the users that have signed-in using their Android devices, and collect prepaid service plans from:

  • Airtel
  • Vodafone-Idea
  • Jio and
  • Bsnl across India.

On the search page, users need to fill their details to collect a list of available prepaid plans from the operators. Therefore users need to select plans and offers from the payment service providers such as:

  • Mobikwik
  • Paytm
  • FreeCharge and
  • Google Pay

Users can choose any of the payment services to pay by using a mobile wallet or payment service of their own choice via the service provider’s website or app.

In India, there are approximately 1.1 billion cellular connections in that 95 percent of users were prepaid consumers.

Prepaid costumers use different ways to recharge their mobile plans, and this service also used to recharge to another person’s plan also.
