

Indian equity markets witnessed a rally following Britain Prime Minister Boris Jhonson said Britain and the European Union have agreed to a new Brexit deal, calling on the lawmakers in London to approve it at the weekend.

The equity index Nifty climbed 122.40 points or 1.07%, settled at 11586.40. While Sensex surged 1.17% or 453.07 points, closed at 39052.06. Nifty Bank up 1.58% or 450.70 points, closed at 28989.50. Nifty Midcap 100 jumps 1.80% or 281.50 points, settled at 15886.90.
